Perfect for the Vandemere weekend fishing or hunting trip, Squidders Lodge offers a hospitable family and dog friendly space to stay. The lodge sleeps up to six people, and is equipped with a bathroom, shower, sink, dining table, refrigerator, and microwave. This lodging is right next door to Squidders Bait and Tackle, and less than half a mile to boat launch access. About 30 miles from New Bern, NC. See policy statements below.

Squidders Overnight Lodge Policy

PLEASE HONOR OUR VERY FEW RULES

No wet or muddy boots inside lodge. Boot and wader hangers are provided in foyer.
No smoking inside lodge.
No dogs inside the lodge. Dogs may stay inside behind the back door of the lodge room.
Absolutely NO COOKING INSIDE THE LODGE ROOM. The microwave oven is there for you to conveniently warm up your food or to cook pre-packaged prepared food.
Grilling. There is a large charcoal grill on the back porch. All outdoor grilling must be done in this area, NOT in front of the lodge or store.

Ok, that’s it! The coffee maker, fridge and microwave oven are for your convenience. Please help yourselves to the popcorn and coffee provided. Squidders Bait and Tackle is next door for you in case you need to purchase beer, snacks, sodas, or canned goods.
